The Waiuku Cosmopolitan Club and Glenbrook Vintage Railway invite you to the Country Women’s Institute preparation for the annual fundraiser.
This year’s fundraiser will be the spring ball and as most of the town has two left feet Madame Sybil is invited to teach dance. However the Madame Sybil advertised under local dance schools is not quite what the President had in mind. Of course there is a fight over payment and the dress style,while Polly is peeved at all these beautiful dancers on her territory and Mrs Anvil in a flap over the sheer humilitation and personal injury this is causing.
Tickets include 2 course dinner, train ride and of course a little mischief and murder.
Excellent way to celebrate Valentines’ Day, corporate evenings, birthday and anniversary celebrations.
Guests arrive at the Waiuku Cosmopolitan Club Restaurant for a special celebratory dinner party. Then we go to the Victoria Ave Station for a ride on the Glenbrook Vintage Steam Train to Glenbrook, where we get a little treat (probably crackers and hummus) with a murder. Who done it and why? And everyone thinks the VP is so nice!
Show starts at 6:30pm, dinner served at 7pm.
Free parking is available at the venue.
Information and clues are being announced as they come in. Recommend bringing a coat or stole and maybe an umbrella if it looks like rain (it is the end of summer after all) – there is a short walk to the train.
